Our Friday evening’s junior classes are filling up. We've just had an influx of eight new junior students joining our academy and enjoying our fun and friendly classes.
We have eight dedicated black belt instructors running these classes, to ensure each and every student receives personal instruction and no one is lost in the crowd. Plus we have a number of junior black belt instructors who as part of their training are encouraged to help out in these classes. Its great for our junior black belt students own self-confidence and their own learning.
Throughout the lessons questions are encouraged and answered by raising your hand so everyone gets an opportunity to take part in class discussions. When an instructor sees something special in a student a Gold Award Certificate is presented. Again this builds self-esteem and encourages other students to behave in a manner that is rewarded.
Students are regularly assessed via their sticker books and individual performance in class in preparation for the next grading.
Remember we have classes on Tuesday's at Southbrook School 7-8pm for juniors and 8-9pm for adults or Friday's at Countess Wear School 7-8pm for juniors and 8-9pm for adults. We would encourage our students to attend as many classes as they are able, as they progress higher and higher through the grades. Training often and regularly will aid in their memory recall of the material required to pass to their next grade.
I hope this is useful. Perfect practice makes permanent.
